Abraham Funeral Set for Tuesday
Ernest Abraham, 68, a farmer in the Halsey neighborhood, died at his home at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, following a prolonged illness. He was born June 1, 1875, at New Hall, Iowa, and had lived in Iowa and Oregon 48 years. He was married at Yreka, Ca., Feb. 21, 1895.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Abraham; a daughter, Mrs. Ida C. Robson of Shedd; four sons, William W. and Everett E. of Shedd, and Lewis C. and Lester H. Abraham of Halsey; a sister, Mrs. Fred S. Fischer of Corvallis; and four brothers, H.A. Abraham of Shedd, H.J. Abraham of Albany, G.B. of Amity and W.G. Abraham of Corvallis.
Funeral services are to be held from the Fortmiller funeral home at two p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30. Interment will be made in the Willamette Memorial Park.
The body is to lie in state from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
