Henry Carver was the son of Josias Carver Sr. and his second wife, Sally (Munday) Brooks who was a young widow when they married. Henry took care of his half-sister, Margaret R. Brooks, after the death of Josias in 1857. Rhoda Parrish was Josias' third wife & widow and they had no children.
