JACOB BRANDLI was born in Canton Zurick, Switzerland March 6, 1827 and died November 7, 1911 at the age of 84 years, 8 months and one day.
In August 1848 he married Elizabeth Widmer, who died in 1896. Five children survive him, Jacob of America, Minnesota, Mrs. C. Weanch of Waseca, John of Pine Island, Mrs. H. Leinan of Dodge Center and Mrs. Elizabeth Meek of Pine Island, all of whom were present at the funeral, except for the first named.
Funeral services were held in the Milton Baptist church, Rev. Maxson officiating. The pall bearers were John Schutz, Sr., John Trutlhart, S.R. Closner, George Stucky, John Rew and Fred Stussy.
Interment was in the Milton Cemetery, Dodge Co., Minnesota
