Bobbie Jean Ward Bachman, 77, of Brunswick, GA died Sunday March 20, 2011 at the Senior Care Center in Brunswick, GA. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday March 23, 2011 at the College Place United Methodist Church 3890 Altama Ave. Brunswick, GA, with interment 4 pm Wednesday in Brooklet Cemetery, Brooklet GA. Jeffery Donaldson, Taylor Landing, Chris Lindsay, Lee O'Neal, Floyd Harbin, and Gerald Ward will be active pallbearers.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday March 22, 2011 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bachman was a native of Bulloch County, one of eleven children born August 7, 1933 to the late Lillie Mae and Carrey Hudson Ward. She graduated from Brooklet High School and Draughan's Business College in Savannah, GA. Mrs. Bachman retired from American National Bank formerly C&S Bank, and Nations Bank, which is now Bank of America. She was a long time member of College Place United Methodist Church where she had served as a member of the choir and was a caretaker in the nursery. She also traveled with Benny Hinn Ministries Church. She loved her family, her church, and her music. Mrs. Bachman leaves behind many legacies and fond memories that will be missed by all.

In addition to Mrs. Bachman's parents she is preceded in death by her husband Sim Bachman, her brothers Herman, Willard and Dempsey Ward, her sisters Bonnie Ward Holland, Shirley Ward, Gladyce Ward Sowell, and Minnie Ward DeVoe

Survivors include her children Beri Bachman Lindsay and Scott Ashley Bachman both of Brunswick, GA; two grandsons Christopher Noel Lindsay of Savannah, GA and Jackson Thomas Bachman of Brunswick, GA; a great-grandson Levi Parker Lindsay of Savannah, GA; a sister Betty Ward Waine, two brothers Johnny E. Ward of Brooklet, GA and Albert Ward of Cresent, GA; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Family request memorial contributions to be made to the College Place United Methodist Church at 3890 Altama Ave, Brunswick, GA 31520
