Mildred Corvin, 87, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Thursday March 17, 2011, in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was of the Christian faith and was the daughter of the late Ira and Etta Wolfe Moore.
She was the wife of the late Rudolph Corvin and was also preceded in death by two sons, Edwin Corvin and Jim Corvin; two daughters, Betty Ziegler and JoAnn Reneau; sister, Willa Mae Robinson and brother, Carl Moore.
Survivors include her son, Randall (Judy) Corvin, Woodbury, TN; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Vernon Moore; sister, Mary Jo Cook, both of Ooltewah, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Jimmy Paul Robinson officiating.
Interment will be in Moore Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN.
