Irma C. Dooley, of Botetourt, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 7, 2005. She was born February 22, 1939 in Botetourt County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Lottie and Earl Leighton, Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Leighton, Jr. Surviving is her loving husband of 31 years, Herman E. Dooley, Sr., daughter, Linda G. Dooley and her husband, Hayden; daughter, Deborah S. Thompson and her husband, Robert, son Johnny Ray Andrews; son, Herman E. Dooley, Jr. and his wife, Penny, eight grandchildren; one greatgrandson, Caleb A. Morris; four sisters, Joanne Doss, Shirley Dooley, Dorothy Goad and Annie Coleman; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, many friends including special friends Judy and Chris Compton. A graveside service celebrating Irma's life will be held today, March 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Mausoleum of Old Dominion Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mike Hogan officiating.
