FOUR DEATHS AT NORWOOD
INFLUENZA'S TOLL IN DOWN RIVER VILLAGE
Horace Babcock, aged 34 years, died at his home on Park St. Saturday morning, Oct. 19 of pneumonia, following an attack of Spanish influenza.
Mr. Babcock had been employed for a number of years in the New York Central office here. He leaves a wife and three children, a mother and two sisters, Mrs. Hiram Atwater of Massena and Mrs. Elmer Forester of Raymondville. His wife and children are ill with influenza. The funeral took place privately Monday.
