Hettie Cole, 92, of Gatesville, died Dec. 4,2006,
at a local care center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Saturday)
at Harvesting Souls International Church in Gatesville with
A.W. Wagoner officiating.
Mrs. Cole was born on June 9, 1914, in Gatesville
to the late Anderson and Emma Jean Brown Weaver.
She attended school in the Lincolnville Community.
In March of 1932 she married R.E. Cole and later went to
work at the State School for Boys for many years.
She was also a member of the Eastern Star and was
active in her church, Bethlehem Baptist, which is now Harvesting
Souls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, LeeOdell Cole;
brothers, Ardian Weaver and Odell Johnson; and a sister, Katherine Weaver.
Survivors include her daughter, Claudia Faye Carroll;
sons, Bobby Dean Cole and Raymond Edward Cole; brother, C.E. Mayberry; eight
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
