SHAFFER
Mrs. Ella May Shaffer,71, 1915 Ella, passed away this morning at a Beatrice hospital.
She was born March 28,1898 at Holmesville.and came to Beatrice in 1942.She was a member of the South Beatrice Church of the Brethern at Holmesville.
Surviving her are her husband ,Roy,two daughters Mrs. Charles (Rachel) Pilcher ,McCook and Mrs. Ross (Betty) Hill, San Antonio,Texas two brothers John and Ray Brubaker, both of Beatrice;two sisters ,Mrs. Florence Hodges,Waverly and Mrs. Lester (Lois)Miller of Lebanon,Pa.and eight grandchildren .She was precede in death by one son,one daughter and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at the South Beatrice Church of the Brethern with Rev. Charles H. Nettleton and the Rev. Swigart F. Miller officating. Burial will be in the Brethern Cemetery at Holmesville.
A memorial has been established with Rev. Ray Dell and Lynn McKinzie in charge.
