OBITUARY
Mrs. Adeline Ford Allender, the daughter of John Wesley Ford and Dorcas Guyton Ford, was born in Henry County, Iowa in the Richwoods vicinity July 23, 1856 and passed away at her home northwest of Mt. She was united in marriage to Charles Allender March 23, 1876 and to this union were born four daughters, one daughter, Marguerite, having preceded her in death in infancy. She and her surviving husband have lived in the same vicinity most of their entire life.
She was baptized when a small child and was of a true Christian nature, always loving and kind, a good wife and mother, always thoughtful of others, and will be missed among her many friends.
