MILLEN -- Mae Burke Boone, 97, died Feb. 5 at Bethany Nursing Center. She was a native of Jenkins County and a retired homemaker. She was a member of Big Horse Creek Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS: two daughters, Helen Spence of Millen, and Anna Crapps of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; a brother, Herman F. Burke of Millen; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Monday at Big Horse Creek Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery. -Savannah Now, Feb 2000
