Gale E. Harriman, 56, of the 200 block of Legend Lane, died July 29, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
He was a retired U.S. Navy Chief with 26 years of service and also worked for Q.E.D. in Virginia Beach. He was born in Lafayette, Ind., and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Harriman; two daughters, Donna J. Masters, and husband Stephen of Newport News, and Judith Ann Kennedy, and husband John of Great Lakes, Ill.; one son, Daniel J. Harriman Sr. and wife Nancy, of Hampton; one sister, Rita Bailey of Mooresville, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 1995, in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
