Walter R. Kienzel, 48, 230 N Railroad St., Hummelstown who was critically injured in a boiler explosion May 21 at the Crane Campany, Middletown plant, died Saturday at Harrisburg Hospital. A veteran of World War Kienzel was a boiler test-fire mechanic for the Crane Co. He was a member of Mountain View Bible Church and VFW Post 1687 of Hummelstown. Surviving in addition to his wife Evelyn M. Kienzel, are three daughters, Elizabeth M., Carolyn M., and Sandra L., all at home; a son, Steven A., at home; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Hoffman, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Maybel M. Deimler, Hummelstown RD 3; two brothers, John W. Jr., Warminster, and Robert H., with the U.S. Army in Japan, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Whitlock, Villas, N.J.
