Spc. Andrew P. Wade, 22, of Antioch, Ill., died March 9 in Kunduz province, Afghanistan, as a result of a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y. Survivors include his parents, Elizabeth and Douglas Wade of Antioch; his sister Alicia (Damon) Litchfield of Avondale, AZ, two brothers, Steven and Jonathan Wade, both of Antioch; his maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Hagedorn and his maternal grandfather, Richard Hagedorn; two nieces Veronica Mauritz and Haley Braverman and two nephews, Derrion and Dominic Litchfield. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Deloriouse Wade.
