Mrs. W. L. Ware

The Willing Workers Class of Raleigh Court Church, Roanoke, reports the passing of one of our most beloved members, Mrs. W. L. Ware on Nov. 27 in Richmond, Va. She was the widow of Dr. W. L. Ware, a Methodist Minister. In recent years she had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Berry in Roanoke. She was a faithful member of the Willing Workers Class and the WSCS. She was a lovely Christian character and loved by all who knew her. Besides Mrs. Berry she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Herman Schmidt and Mrs. T. F. Crittenden of Richmond and two sons, Col. R. E. Ware of Arlington and Mr. M. L. Ware of Fairfax, Va.

Mrs. W. L. Ware, 89, who lived with her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Berry of 1716 Arlington Road, SW, died today in a Richmond nursing home. She was the widow of Dr. W. L. Ware. Also surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. Herman Schmidt, Mrs. T. F. Crittenden, Richmond, two sons, Col. R. E. Ware, Arlington; M. L. Ware, Fairfax. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Bennnett Funeral Home with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
