Elizabeth Andrews born January 27, 1919 died March 2, 2011 at a local hospital. She was a member of Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Andrews Sr. and four children. She is survived by her children Mary James, Love Wright, Catherine Andrews, Regina (Edward) Mitchell, Yolanda Craig, Anita Andrews, Benita Andrews, John (Sandra) Andrews Jr., Carl (Gwenda) Andrews, and daughter-in-law, Paulette Andrews. She is also survived by two brothers David (Janice) Andrews and Boykin (Beverly) Andrews; sister-in-law, Ann Andrews, a host of Grandchildren, Great-grand-children, Great-Great Grand children; three devoted friends, Mary Zoghby, Gaby Gray, Sheldon Morgan and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 10:00 am and celebration service will begin at 11:00 am at the Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church, 961 Lyons St., Mobile, AL 36603 with Rev. Eugene Morris officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
