Eunice Odell Alff Eunice Odell Alff, 83, a Georgetown resident since 1976, entered into rest Friday March 4, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel & Crematory in Georgetown on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. There will be a memorial service celebrating Eunice's life and faith at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg with Pastor John Davenport officiating. Those being recognized as honorary pallbearers are: Ashley, Allyssa, Reagan, Lauren, Daniel, Jessica, Emma, Tyler, Dylan, and Brady. She will be laid to rest next to her husband William (Bill) Charles Alff in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. Eunice was born May 10, 1927 to Ted and Irene (Ayers) Reid in Manor. She married William "Bill Charles Alff March 19, 1952 in Austin, where she set about making a home and raising her family. Eunice was baptized and confirmed May 22, 1955 in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Austin, after moving to Georgetown she became an active member at Zion Lutheran Church of Walburg. Eunice spent her free time volunteering at the Caring Place in Georgetown. Eunice is preceded in death by her parents, husband; sons, Loren Hudnall, Tim W. Alff; daughter, Nancy Ruth Alff; four brothers and a sister. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Ralph Hudnall and wife Terry of Irving, Charles W. Alff of Georgetown, and John A. Alff and wife Adell of League City; daughters, Judy and husband Slim Noack of Georgetown and Rebecca and husband Scottie Williams of Georgetown; sister, Sadie Fishback of Burnet; brother Walter Reid and wife Eileen of Thorndale; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude to Jeanie Miller for her compassionate care-giving and companionship making Eunice's final days comfortable.
