Services Held For 2-Year-Old Drowning Victim
Funeral services were held Saturday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church for Crescent Rose Gilliland, 2-year old daughter of Rene May Gilliland of Port Ludlow. The infant's death came by drowning and occurred last Thursday, Aug. 3, in a small pond off the West Valley Road, near Center. The Rev. L. Walter Truitt conducted Saturday's services, and interment was at Swansonville. Crescent was born in Port Townsend on July 24, 1976. She also is survived by a sister, Crystal Gilliland.
