Hobert Aker, age 83 passed away Tuesday May 9, 2006 at his home in Marion after celebrating his 56 wedding anniversary on Saturday. He was born in Smyth County to the late Arch W. & Cora Kegley Aker. He was retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company. Survivors Include: His Loving Wife: Dolores Sexton Aker One Son & Daughter-in-Law: Michael "Mike" Aker & wife Brenda, Saltville Three Sisters: Lula Mae Hawthorne, Greensburg, KY Louise Lee, Fredericksburg, VA Florida Haulsee, Marion One Sister-in-Law: Shirley Aker, Marion One Grandson: Brandon David Aker & wife Nikki, Saltville.
