Donna B. Stanger Minor

Ogden – Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Donna B. Stanger Minor, passed away February, 27, 2011 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

Donna was born April 17, 1924 to Archibald Stanger and Beatrice Holmes Stanger. She lived in Marriott, Utah and was proud to have worked on her Dad's farm along with her seven brothers and sisters. She graduated from Weber County High School and Seminary. She attended Ogden Business College. She worked at Ogden Arsenal, Ogden City Schools and retired from IRS.

She loved spending time with her family and working in her garden. She is a member of the LDS Church

On September 25, 1946, Donna married her dearest friend, Lee L. Minor.

Lee preceded her in death June 11, 2002. Surviving Donna are their three children, Janet D. Allen (Bruce), Mitchell L. Minor (Karen), Debra B. Ballard (Michael); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, J. Leland Stanger, Archie D. Stanger and sisters, Claunda (Connie) Brown and Sharon Turnblom.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eugene and sisters, Sally and Lila.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., where friends may call on Wednesday, March 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment in the Ogden City Cemetery.
