- Anne C. "Rusty" (Norton) Cody was born in Worcester, daughter of James and Mary (McDermott) Norton, and lived there most of her life before moving to South Dennis in 1980. She graduated from St. Peter's High School, Worcester, and Jamaica Hospital School of Nursing in Jamaica, N.Y. Mrs. Cody was a practical nurse in Worcester-area nursing homes before she retired.

Her husband, William E. Cody, died in 1978.
