Thomas L. "Nicky" Cambron, 67, Loretto, died Oct. 20, 1987, at 7:50 p.m. at Humana Hospital Audubon in Louisville.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired employee of General Electric Company, and a member of the West Marion County Senior Citizens Club. He was born in Marion County. His parents, James Arthur and Regina Isabelle Smith Cambron, preceded him in death.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Vivian Thomas Cambron; three daughters, Mrs. William "Faye" Linton of New Haven; Ms. Becky Cambron of Lebanon and Mrs. John "Debbie" McCoy of Concord, N.C.; two sons, Freddie Cambron and Gary Cambron of Bardstown; four sisters, Mrs. Monzell Bland and Mrs. Florence Hagan of Louisville, Mrs. Golda O'Daniel of Bardstown and Mrs. Arthur Mae Thompson of Loretto; eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Oct. 23, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Kevin J. Bryan officiated. The West Marion County Senior Citizens formed an honor guard at the church.

Pallbearers were Bill Rowlett, Mark Linton, Wyman Burton, Bee Thomas, Ronnie O'Daniel, and Dickie Thompson.

A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22, at the funeral home. Mattingly Funeral Home, Loretto, was in charge of the arrangements.
