Uncle George had an unusual extended family. He lived with the Kruse family, as a boarder, most of his adult life. He quickly became part of their family.
He adopted Louise Kruse as a second mother.
After Louise died, Florence R Emge continued to live with George as his house keeper and companion. She stayed with him thru his illness until his death.

George was their fifth child. The family landed at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on George's 7th birthday, Aug 11, 1890, traveling on to Kansas from there.
George was not married and had no children.
Cause of Death: Lymphosarcome (Death Certificate)
This is a type of leukemic.
