Mrs. Blanche Greene Hayes, 75, of Vilas, died Wednesday morning, September 28, at her home.
She was born April 5, 1913 in Watauga County to Asa Allen and Nettie Adams Greene. She was a member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, two grandsons, two sisters, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Miss Anette Hayes.
Services were conducted Friday afternoon at Brushy Fork Baptist Church. Officiating were the Reverends Sherrell Dunn and Ed Crump. Burial followed in the Adams Cemetery.
Hampton Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
