BELCHERTOWN - Kathleen (Wild) Clifford died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at home. Born on August 3, 1921 in Derbyshire, England, she was the daughter of William and Beatrice (Shaw) Wild. She lived in Springfield for most of her life before she relocated to Belchertown in 1981. She was a member of Faith United Church in Springfield and the Belchertown Senior Center. Kathleen was employed as a medical secretary at Baystate Medical Center for many years before retirement. She will be forever missed by her son, Richard and his longtime companion Carol Frank of Springfield and her daughter, Judith Champagne and her husband Danny of Belchertown. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Owen, in 2000 and her son, Michael, in 2001. A funeral service will be held at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 1st at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
