Obituary for Rev Frederick Buehler
The Daily Herald, page 14, Chicago, Illinois, Friday, December 24, 1937.
" Son of F.W. Buehler and Christine Fossler, born 18 September 1861 at Oltenheim, Lahr, Baden, Germany. Married in 1892 in Tuellengen, Baden, Germany. ***One brother and one sister are in Germany**
His sister has "disappeared". All we have is: Helen Stephannie Buehler, 1896 – aft 1940. She was very talented with music, and for awhile gave music lessons and she paid 'room and board' (US Directory information) to her parents!
Then she ends up in a mental institue (so we think). My sister and mom tried to track her down to no avail. We sure would like to know what happened to her. It is believed that she never married, nor had any children.
Would love to hear stories about his church.
His obituary said his remains were taken to St John's Evangelica Church where he was Pastor Beuhler since 1932.
