OBITUARY OF LAURINE A. UNDERWOOD

Laurine A. UNDERWOOD, 89, died September 27, 1999 at Meridian Nursing Home in Duncan, Oklahoma. Services were held in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel in Duncan with the Rev. Bob Jackson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bill Jackson.

Burial was in the Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian.

Mrs. UNDERWOOD was born January 24, 1910 in Las Vegas, New Mexico, the daughter of Peter and Mary Esther (Flowers) CONUS. She married James N. JACKSON in November 1927. He preceded her in death in January of 1950. She married E. L. “Brown” UNDERWOOD in Duncan on December 05, 1975. He died January 20, 1984.

Mrs. UNDERWOOD is survived by a daughter, Esther ROWLEY of Comanche, Oklahoma; two sons, Bill JACKSON of Wichita Falls and Bob JACKSON of Duncan and four step-children, a brother, Leo CONUS of Tacoma, California, and three grandchildren.
