He was born on June 23rd, 1904 in LOOSDUINEN, a small Village near The HAGUE HOLLAND.
His profession was Blacksmith and Welder.
His Grandfather was Nicolaas ORIE, born April 1st, 1850 in WASSENAAR in HOLLAND, who died December 11st, 1916, and his Grandmother was Willemina Maria TETTEROO, born February 8th, 1849 and she died December 22nd, 1905.
My father's parents were Hendrik ORIE, born February 2nd, 1878, who died April 1st, 1945 in ENSCHEDE near the GERMAN Border, and Elisabeth van der LENDE, born June 2nd, 1869 in WOLVEGA. She died July 29th, 1947 in LOOSDUINEN HOLLAND.
My Father married October 7th, 1931 a lovely German Girl, called Emma Augusta Mathilde GÖTZE, born 25th May 1910 in ELSFLETH a/d WESER in GERMANY.
They raised 6 children, 2 of them died very young.
The other 4 are still alive, they are: Henk, Jan, Hans and Emmy.
Our dear Father died May 13rd, 1981 in LOOSDUINEN, near The HAGUE in HOLLAND.
He is buried on the Cemetery near the ABDIJ CHURCH in LOOSDUINEN-HOLLAND.
