A native of Tobinsport, he came to Muncie about 60 years ago. For 20 years, he was a member of the custodial staff at Frank Elliott Hall at Ball State, retiring in 1954. Prior to this time, he worked at Warner Gear and earlier he had been employed at the old Muncie Products. In April, he and his wife, Mae, observed their 58th wedding anniversary. He was a member of Riverside EUB Church and F and AM, Muncie Lodge 433.
Surviving besides his widow are a son, Charles H. Lamb, Muncie; three daughters, Mrs. Ailene Shepard, Miss Virginia Lamb, and Mrs. Stanley Schull, all of Muncie; a brother, Clarence, Tobinsport; and three grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Russell Hiatt officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.
