Mrs. Bertha Bailey, 84, of Keens, died at the Alton State Hospital where she had been a patient a short time. She was at the Olney nursing home since early in 1968 and then at Way Fair Restorium.
She was born in Wayne County Sept. 12, 1884, the daughter of John & Rheta Greathouse.
She was married to Amos Bailey who died 15 years ago.
Born & reared in the Hickory Hill Twp vicinity, she resided in Arkansas for 25 years, then returned to Wayne County about 1936.
She was a member of the Brush Creek RLDS Church.
Services were held at the Richardson Chapel with burial in Thomason Cemetery.
