Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bartheld Funeral Chapel, Brentwood, for John S. Armstrong who died Saturday at a Martinez hospital following a lenghty illness.
Mr. Armstrong was born in Byron and lived there all his lefe except while in the U.S. Army from 1942-1946.
Survivers include his son of Alameda Naval Station; his mother Mrs. Margaret Armstrong, of Byron; two brothers Robert E. of Antioch, and Elmer C. of Byron, and a sister Mrs. Mary Mearns of Daly City.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Brentwood.
