Born in Somerville, MA, She resided in Wilmington, MA, where she was former owner of Church Street Hardware and Liquor Store until moving to Florida in 1977. She was employed by Walgreen's for the past fifteen years. She was a communicant of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Frank J. Griffin. She has two daughters, Patricia Griffin of Port Orchard, Washington and Donna Flynn and her husband Jack of Newport, Rhode Island, Barbara has three sisters, Thelma Diels and Patricia McKenna of Wilmington, MA, and Dorothy Bragdon of Stratham, New Hampshire. She is also survived by a brother Howard (Sonny) Murray of Wilmington, MA, Barbara has three grandchildren: Griffin, Sean and Jake Flynn all of Newport, Rhode Island. Barbara was preceeded in death by her parents Howard and Stella Murray, as well as her sister Norma Hembree.
