Robert Lee "Pee Wee" Tinker, 62, of Pleasant, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

He was born Nov. 30, 1948, in Milan, the son of Robert W. and Gladys Ruth Branham Tinker. He was raised in Switzerland County and was a 1966 graduate of Vevay High School. He enjoyed farming all of his life, raising cattle, hogs and goats. He owned and operated Tinker Equipment in Pleasant, starting in 2000. With his family he operated Tinker Equipment in Fairview from 1968 until 2000. He was employed at Ande Chevrolet in Lawrenceburg from 1966 to 1968. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and the Switzerland County Tractor Pullers Association. He enjoyed a hard day's work, farming, collecting Oliver toy tractors, camping and Indiana University basketball.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Tinker; three sons, Jeffery Lee Tinker of Pleasant, Jason Earls of Madison and Dave Tinker of Lamb; four daughters, Angela Tinker of Versailles, Melissa Prickett of Hanover, Michelle Mitchell of Springfield, Ohio, and Kimberly Denning of Madison; one brother, Donald Wayne "Butch" Tinker of Fairview; one sister, Donna Jean Tinker of Fairview; 12 grandchildren; and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lou Ann Tinker; one brother, Tommy Lynn Tinker; and one step daughter, Tracie Lee Sams.

The funeral was at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial was in Concord Cemetery in Patriot.
