Mrs. Alma Weddle died Monday evening at the Perkins Nursing Home where she had been a patient for the past five years. She was 89 years old. Mrs. Weddle, widow of the late Elza Weddle of Plainfield, was a member of the Plainfield Methodist Church where she was quite active earlier in life. She worked for 10 years at the Indiana Boys School [Plainfield] were the late Mr. Weddle was assistant superintendent at the time of his death Services are this morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Flanner & Buchanan Hall Mortuary in Plainfield in charge of the Rev. Richard Lancaster. Burial will be in the South Cemetery in Danville. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Ella Ragsdale of North Salem and a brother, Omer Clements of Elgin, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.
