Leo John Biedrycki, age 90, passed away on February 13th, 2011 at Preston House Alzheimer's Assisted Living Facility.

He was born May 19th, 1920 in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania, the son of the late John and Marianne Biedrycki. He was the youngest of three siblings. On July July 28th, 1943 he married Elizabeth Harkey Biedrycki, who survives.

Leo was a decorated veteran of the WWII Normandy Invasion. After his discharge he was employed by Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. as a sales executive for over 30 years.

In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by his son, Jerry Biedrycki of Richmond, VA, and his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Laura Biedrycki of Charlotte, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3635 Park Road, Charlotte, NC. A private burial at Norwood Cemetery in Norwood, NC will follow the Mass.
