Kathryn Kaliel (Archunde) Medrano, 42, of Albuquerque, passed away Friday April 22, 2005. Kathy's death was unexpected. She was born on February 7, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Billye June (Nuckols) Wilcox and Lorenzo B Archunde.
Kathy was an employee for the City of Albuquerque and Police Department for over 20 years, where she recently was a project manager in the crime lab.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Oscar Medrano; daughter, Karisa Medrano; and son, Jose Medrano; her parents, Billye June (Nuckols) Wilcox-Archunde and Lorenzo B Archunde; her sister, Betty Valdez (husband, Tom); niece, Alene Wilson (husband, Michael); and her God-children, Tommy Valdez and Marcus Wilson; nephew, John Valdez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
