Ms. Connie Ann Neeley Smith, age 66, of Crab Orchard, Kentucky passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
Connie entered into this life on March 2, 1944 in Lexington, Kentucky; the daughter of Nancy Christine Prewitt Fain and Jack Dempsey Neeley, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a lumber sales clerk with Perry Lumber and Wick's Lumber. Connie was of the Christian faith; and will be remembered for her love of birds, reading, photography and wildlife.
Connie will be lovingly remembered by her son: Ronald Dean Smith, Jr. and Lillie Clay of Lexington, Kentucky; one grandson: Dean Norton "Bugs" Smith of Lexington, Kentucky; her companion of 30 years: Walter Aubrey of Brodhead, Kentucky; one brother: Jack Dempsey Neeley Jr. and his wife Dorothy of Lexington, Kentucky; one sister: Robin Ketsey Jones and her husband James of Beattyville, Kentucky; her special Aunt Gracie of Winchester, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Nancy Christine Prewitt Fain and Jack Dempsey Neeley, and her infant daughter: Susann Christine Smith.
