Alice N. O'Bannon, 76, of Slidell, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Louisiana Heart Hospital. She was the beloved mother of Beverly O. Shay and Sherrill O. Sisk, both of Slidell. She was the mother-in-law of James Shay and Louis T. Sisk, and sister of Mrs. Mickey Laukhuff Walker of Destin, Fla. She was the grandmother of Jessica Olivier, Kevin Sisk, Alicia Galloway and Michael Shay; and great-grandmother of Emily Sisk, Justin Sisk, Ashley Olivier and Caden Galloway. O'Bannon was a native of Pottscamp, Miss., and former resident of Memphis, Tenn., and New Orleans for many years. She has been a resident of Slidell since 2002. O'Bannon was employed as a purchasing agent for Krauss and Co. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Honaker Funeral Home, located at 1751 Gause Blvd. West, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, on June 26 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jay Victory will be officiating. Interment will be held in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. All visitations will be held at the funeral home from noon until funeral time on Tuesday.
