Lodi, CA Funeral services and burial for Charles E. Iske, 80, of Lodi, Calif. a former resident of Jasper County, were held recently in Lodi.
Survivors are his wife, Pearl, two sons, David and Don; a daughter Lena Mae; two sisters, Mrs. Harley (Geneive) McIlrath and Mrs. Millard (Irene) Huffaker; a step-sister, Mrs. Ralph (Theodore)Shaffer; and four brothers, Harold and Carroll, both of California, Ted of Oregon, and Jack of West Liberty. (Left out was 1/2 brother Kenneth of Grinnell and step sister Edna Williams of Marshalltown, IA.)
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Harley.
The son of David and Lena Shaw Iske, he was born July 3, 1905 northwest of Newton.

Charles Iske, died Jun 7, 1996 and was buried Aug 9, 1996 at Lodi Memorial Cemetery in the Community Niche, as is Willie P. Iske, died Feb 26, 1987, buried Mar 4, 1987. Their names are not on the niche, but the cemetery records say they are there.
