Joan was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Port Washington, N.Y.; Hollywood, Fla.; and Portland. She was a customer service representative and homemaker.
Joan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Noel King; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Teri Cohen; grandchildren, Matt King and his wife, Mitzy; Jamie, Jake and Katie Cohen; and Ali, Heather and Justin King and their children; and a great-grandson due in May. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milton Cohen.
A graveside service will be held at noon Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Douglass Pioneer Cemetery, Troutdale.
