William Ezekiel Haney, born 14 November 1853 Greene County, Virginia, died 24 March 1939 Free Union, Albermarle, Virginia. Son of Smith George Haney and America Mildred Lamb Haney. Married 10 March 1876, Frances Ann Naylor Powell (widow of Lewis William Powell)born 29 April 1848 and died in 1924. William was the brother of my grandfather Charles Smith Haney.
