Eudene Dees, 82, of Waltonville, Illinois, passed away at her home at 10:00AM, May 19, 1995. She was a housewife. Born in Jefferson County on June 26,1912, she was the daughter of James Perry and Zula (Clampett) Braden. She was united in marriage to Holly Dees in 1929 and he preceeded her in death on January 14, 1979. They were married fifty years.
Services will be at 1:00PM. Sunday, at Fry and Frick Chapel in Waltonville with Reverand Jesse Allen officiating. Burial will be held in Knob Prairie Cemetary beside her husband, Holly. Friends may call from 5-8PM today. Mrs.
Mrs. Dees is survived by two sons, Darryl (Norma) Dees and Randy (Elaine) Dees, both of Waltonville, one sister, Mrs. Geraldine Louise Williams of Fulton, Missouri, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
In addition to her husband, Holly, Mrs. Dees was preceeded in death by her parents, one son, Hollis Dees, one daughter, Betty Dees Waldman, one grandson, Craig Dees, four brothers, Nelson Isom, Clarence Elmer Isom, Bernard Braden and Clifford Braden, three sisters, Myrl Isom Martin, Fern Isom Adkins and Gusta Isom Lackey,four nephews, Lowell Atkins, Charles Dale Isom, Ulan Ray Isom and Sargent Wendell J. Martin.
She was a charter member of the Free Will Babtist Church in Waltonville. Memorials may be made to Knob Prairie Cemetary.
