Mrs. Eva M. Colbert, 68; services planned for Monday
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Blackstone Funeral Home, Church Hill Road, for Mrs. Eva M. Colbert, 68, of 1711 Lincoln Ave., who died of a heart attack Thursday morning in Northside Medical Center after being stricken at home. Mrs. Colbert was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Adrian, Pa., a daughter of Henry L. and Sara D. Lasher Croyle. Her first husband, Ernest Coukart, is deceased. Her second husband, Henry G. Colbert, whom she married Dec. 12, 1956, died March 5, 1972. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dora Mae Peck in Texas; a stepson, the Rev. Gerald Colbert in Michigan; a stepdaughter, Miss Nancy Colbert in Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Crow of Clearfield, Pa., Mrs. Henrietta Leasure of Kittanning, Pa., and Mrs. Minnie Bowser of Portland Ore.; two brothers, Charles E. Croyle of East Brady, Pa., and Labanna Croyle of Tyrone, Pa.; and four grandchildren. Two brothers, William and Daniel Croyle, are deceased. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
