Decatur Daily Review, Decatur, Illinois, 29 Nov 1932, Tuesday - An obituary for Sherman Carr, 63, of Decatur, states he had died at the Wabash hospital He was born near Stewardson, June 6, 1869. He and Miss Meda Bridges were married there Feb. 19, 1892. They had lived in Decatur 28 years where Mr. Carr was employed by the Wabash as a carpenter at the round house. He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and of Decatur Lodge No. 65, I. O. O. F. Surviving were his wife and one daughter, Mrs. L. R. Carlisle, Decatur; and two brothers, Ervin Carr, Watertown, S. D., and Roy Carr, Decatur.
