Mrs. Arbuckle
Mrs. Lillian Arbuckle, 47, of 707 No. Erie St., Gladwin, died Friday, April 14, at the Lapeer County General Hospital following an illness of three months. Born Sept. 4, 1919, in Butman Township, she had been a lifetime
resident of Gladwin County.
The former Lillian Busch and Lester Arbuckle were married in Gladwin in 1939, He preceded her in death March 15, 1946. At the time of her illness she was employed in Don's Market, here.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Roberson of Flint, Mrs. Joyce Gower of Lapeer and Miss Margaret Arbuckle of Detroit; four sisters, Mrs. Olga Endert of Gladwin, Mrs. Catherine Edwards of Florida, Mrs. Lydia Lewis of Detroit and Mrs. Ann Summers of Gladwin;
four brothers, Ben of California, Henry of Ohio, William of Nevada, and John of Detroit; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ernst G. Mueller officiating. Interment was in the Skeels cemetery. Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Gladwin County Record dated 4-19/1967 Column - 5 Page - 1.
