w/o Robert (Rob) Coburn
m. Nov. 23, 1897 Salina, KS
At the age of 5, Anna came to America from Germany with her parents and sister Maria arriving New York on April 21, 1880 aboard the ship "Frisia".
At the age of 14 Anna homesteaded land in Sheridan County and started working in households in Salina to help her family. Rob & Anna met, while still single and working in Salina, when she stepped out the back door and threw out dirty dish water, soaking Rob who was walking past the house. A romance blossomed and then marriage.
