HAZEL BELL (CAMMACK) KILGORE QUILLIN
Services for Hazel B. Quillin, 91, of Lufkin, were held Saturday, Oct. 30 in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Quillin was born Oct. 3, 1913 in Timpson, to the late R. L. and Della (Thomas) Cammack, and died Wednesday, Oct. 27 in a Lufkin nursing home. She received her bachelor's degree in teaching at Stephen F. Austin State University and taught in rural schools for several years. She received her master's degree at the University of Houston in 1949. Her teaching career spanned from 1940-1973. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lufkin
and the Seekers Sunday school class. She was also a member of the Retired Texas Teacher's Association, The Story League of Lufkin and the Lufkin Chapter 382 Order of the Eastern Star. She volunteered at Memorial Hospital in Lufkin for 20 years.

Survivors: her only child, daughter Dorothy B. Davenport; stepson and wife, Robert and Angela Quillin; grandsons, Russ and Dan Rawls; grandson and wife, Tracy and Lisa Rawls; step-grandchildren, William, Kathy and Mary Quillin; great-granddaughters, Brandy and Sydney Rawls; step-great-grandchildren, Brandon, Aaron, Lyndsay, Amy and Ava; and her best friend and sister-in-law, Irene Cammack of Carthage.

Mrs. Quillan was preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn Quillin in 2004 and B. B. Kilgore in 1969.
