                   Manoah G. Scarbro

Funeral services for Manoah C. Scarbro, 73, of Route 1, Beckley, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Hope with the Rev. Roy Tyree in charge. Burial will follow in Workman's Creek Cemetery.

Scarbro died in a local nursing home at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday following a long illness.

A member of the Methodist Church at Cirtsville, he was born in West Virginia, Oct 28, 1889.

Survivors include one son, Manoah Jr. of Route 1, Beckley; one daughter, Mrs.Ethel Savage of Waldon, N.Y.; two brothers, Herbert of Clear Creek and Lacy of Huntington; two sisters, Mrs. Ester Whitaker of Arnett and Mrs. Rowena Cantley of Scarbro.

Friends may call at the funeral home between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. today.
