Dorothy Richmond
WYANET -- Dorothy L. Richmond, 74, of Wyanet died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2004, at her home.
Born Feb. 1, 1930, in Tenstrike, Minn., to E.E. Cluff and Margaret Schultz, she married James E. Richmond April 17, 1946, in Princeton. He died Oct. 2, 2002.
She worked at the Wyanet Post Office for 20 years, retiring in 1995 as postmaster.
She was a member of Wyanet VFW 6634 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara (Tom) Martin of Frankfort and Lori (John) Graham of Ottawa; one son, Ronald (Lesley) Richmond of Bloomington; one sister, Evelyn Olsen of Santa Marie, Calif.; one brother, Stanley (Ella) Cluff of Florence, Ore.; and two grandchildren, Alicia Graham and Zachary Graham of Ottawa.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
Services were held Monday in the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Wyanet, with the Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Wyanet.
Visitation was held Sunday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to Wyanet VFW 6634 Ladies Auxiliary or St. Margaret's Hospice in Spring Valley.
