Ethel F. Herringshaw, 82, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1987, in Marlesta Nursing Home, Findlay.

She was a member of North Baltimore American Legion Auxiliary Post 539 and North Baltimore Eagles Lodge 2633.

Mrs. Herringshaw was born May 9, 1905, in Swanton to Mr. and Mrs. William Cole (Lydia Welch). She married Fred Herringshaw on July 27, 1926 in Liberty Center. He died Sept. 1, 1981.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Virginia Richmond, Grand Rapids, Mrs. Ida Himmler, North Baltimore, Mrs. Shirley Brown, Bradenton, Fla., Mrs. Loretta Campbell, Findlay, and Mrs. Mary Shephard, Syracuse. N.Y.; three sons, Kenneth and Merl Herringshaw, both of North Baltimore, and Charles Kasten, Pinellas Park, Fla.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hosler, North Baltimore; one step-son, Chester Herringshaw, Port Clinton; 52 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. in Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore. Burial was in Wingston Cemetery with the Rev. James Sisk officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
